![]() ![]() Vascular complications are often responsible for cerebral infarction and for neurological sequelae among adult survivors of TBM. Ĭerebral infarction is a recognized complication of TBM. Extrapulmonary TB was diagnosed in 3,055 cases (7.6%). According to data from the World Health Organization, 40,000 people suffered from TB in Malaysia in 2014 of which 2400 (6%) died.
