![]() ![]() I would splurge for the SoCal Access, as some locations are better than others (I specifically did not like the WeHo location, compared to the Hollywood one).Wow. Obvi the eucalyptus towels are a plus, and I've never EVER been comfortable in gym/locker rooms until my experience at Equinox. I think the classes make the membership so worth it, especially if you do 2-3 per week. I've yet to try the sports club on Sepulveda but that's my next trip and am really excited to see what's offered there. ![]() Century City doesn't feel like it's worth the extra $100/month, and I wouldn't recommend going just for the decent view. Beverly Hills is by far one of my favorite locations and I believe it's worth the one club price. I don't always plan things out so it's nice to just make the decision in the spur of the moment and not have to organize my entire day around traffic to get to one specific location. I didn't want to choose 1 club because I'd like to be able to workout with other people if they have access to different locations, and it makes it convenient to just go to one that's nearest to where i am in the moment. I pay $325 for Destination Access across all of the locations. If my membership didn’t include all the other things it does, I would go back to LA fitness and be perfectly fine too. Some of the equipment is better, some isn’t. Nice folded towels for you, nice soaps etc. Other than that, the locker rooms are pretty nice and the overall vibe is fancy. Even if I go to Equinox during the gym rush, I can find all the equipment I need and never wait. Sometimes I would wait over 20 minutes to use the squat rack. LA Fitness is always so crowded and you have to wait for everything. I would say the main difference between an affordable gym and Equinox is the amount of people that are there. I’ve also belonged to Planet Fitness when it was closer to my house and Golds Gym. Prior to that I was at LA Fitness paying $25 and totally happy with that. I pay $215 a month for Gympass which gives me access to equinox and a bunch of other pricey studios along with a therapist so to me it’s worth it and I try to really maximize the value of it so I can justify the cost.
